mit google+ hat der suchmaschinengigant aus mountain view nun den angriff auf facebook eingeläutet. parallel dazu gab es ein design update für die google homepage und es wurde der google +1 button in den serps integriert. obs ein hit wird oder floppt, kann zu zeit noch niemand sagen.

was ein elend. hier im inneren ist immer noch alles beim alten. kann nicht mal eine klassische überschrift für den blogbeitrag hier definieren, nur via html. ein feld wie sonst üblich für den titel des artikels gibt es nicht. so richtig viel hat das mit der reaktivierung nicht gebracht. wer will schon mit einer krücke laufen wenns woanders rollschuhe gibt ;-)

watt ein murks. gerade geschafft das blog wieder zu reaktivieren und jetzt funktioniert die hälfte nicht mehr.

In der Zwischenzeit hat sich viel geändert, Akismet ist das Mittel der Wahl gegen Spam, andere Tools wie Spam Karma haben ausgedient und werden nicht mehr weiter unterstützt. Google hat den Spam-Report für Paid Links eingeführt und damit den gemeinen Internet-Surfer zum Anti-Spam Helfer befördert. Schaun wir mal, wie es in 2009 weiter geht.

MT-Blacklist Version 1.5 released

Version 1.5 of the new Anti-Spam weapon has been released. Now, instead of simply de-spamming and deleting one comment spam (or trackback…), you can search every single blog in your entire Movable Type installation for spam, delete them all at once, rebuild the relevant pages and add all of the extracted URLs to your blacklist. Referrer spamming via server statistic

In order to get more links and Pagerank some sites use another kind of referrer spamming - they flood the statistic pages with their referals. An interesting entry about such an incident could be seen in Kasias Weblog: New version of google-bombing . The best you could do is to make your stat pages non-public. Otherwise you should try to delink the referrer urls or to make the stat pages inaccessible to search engine spiders.

Google has danced - and the result has been somewhat disappointing. Because of the last discussions in WMF and statements from the famous googleguy we had expected some spectacular improvements in spam fighting. Especially with regard to all this tedious guestbook link spamming. But no improvements in this topic :-(
Even worse, other kind of spamming techniques have climbed up the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages). In the popular german SE Forum Suchmaschinentricks a lot of SEOs are annoyed and discuss about converting to the dark side of optimization business. Isn't that strange? As long as it is nearly impossible to get top positions in some hard-fought keyword areas without such dubious methods it's hard to resist.

A very alarming signal!! If google is not able to fight against such technics within the next 2-3 month the quality of it's results will decline the same way as the quality of guestbook contributions. Googleguys - it's time to act - fast!

Sieht wohl so aus. Aber schlimmer als ihn trifft es viele Gästebuch Besitzer. Einmal in die Klauen der Spammer geraten und das Gästebuch hat einen Unterhaltungswert, der im Limes gegen 0 tendiert. Aber erste Aktivisten wie Klaus Blömeke haben sich jetzt des Themas Gästebuchspam angenommen.
